Nia is heading to Chicago for the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals’ 50th Annual Conference — a milestone gathering of the community that has shaped so much of her journey in aviation.
For 50 years, OBAP has worked to expand access, create opportunity, and advance representation across aviation and aerospace. This year’s conference, themed “Black. Bold. Boundless. The Legacy Lives On,” brings together thousands of aviators, students, industry leaders, and aspiring professionals at McCormick Place from August 12–14, 2026.
